TestSetGo
AI test generator

The AI test generator that starts from your material.

Upload a document or paste text and TestSetGo drafts questions grounded in what it says, each showing its source passage. You approve every one before anybody sees it.

How it works

Material to shareable test in three steps

  1. 01

    Add your source

Upload a document, paste text or give it a topic, and TestSetGo works only from what you provide.

  2. 02

    Review the drafts

Read each question beside its source passage, then edit the wording, swap an option or remove anything weak.

  3. 03

    Publish and share

Approve the set and share it with a link, access code or QR code, then objective questions grade themselves as the dashboard fills in.

Grounded, not guessed

Questions tied to what your material says

Generation works from the source you upload, and each draft carries the passage it came from, so you check it at a glance. That keeps questions accurate to your content, not the model's general knowledge.

  • Draft from a document, pasted text or a topic
  • Per-question source citation you can verify
  • Answers drawn from your material, not invented

You stay the author

Every question is yours to approve

A draft is a starting point, never a published question. Edit stems and options, rewrite explanations, adjust points or delete anything that misses the mark. Nothing reaches a participant until you sign it off.

  • Edit, replace or remove any draft
  • Set points and add explanations
  • Approval required before publishing

Straight into results

From generated test to real insight

Once your approved test is live, objective questions score automatically and the dashboard shows averages, pass rate and per-question accuracy, including the wrong answers people chose. That tells a hard topic from a hard question.

  • Auto-grading for objective question types
  • Per-question accuracy and common wrong answers
  • CSV export when you need the data elsewhere

How the generator works

What you can and can't expect from it

Drafts in four question types

Drafts arrive as multiple choice, multiple response, true/false and short answer — you pick the mix or let it balance. Add the other five types, from numeric to ordering and matching, in the editor.

Explore question types

Documents or pasted text

Feed it a document or paste notes, in any language. It reads what you give it, not the open web.

Citations you can check

Each draft names the passage behind it, so verifying takes seconds, not a re-read.

Maths renders properly

Formulas written in LaTeX render cleanly with KaTeX in questions, options and explanations.

Human approval, always

The generator drafts; you decide. No question is ever published to a participant without your sign-off.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is the AI test generator free?

Yes, to start. Generating and editing drafts is part of the builder, and the free plan covers 75 responses a month; paid plans from $19/mo add volume and team seats, billed by responses not features.

What can I generate a test from?

Upload a document, paste text, or give it a topic. It drafts from the material you provide, not live web pages, audio or video.

Does it work in languages other than English?

Yes. Drafts come back in the language of your material, so a French handbook produces French questions and a Spanish policy produces Spanish ones. Participants take the test in that language.

How do I know the questions are accurate?

Every draft is shown next to its source passage, so you can confirm it against your material before approving. Because generation is grounded in what you upload, questions reflect your content, not the model's general knowledge.

Does anything get published automatically?

No. Generated questions are always drafts; you edit, replace or remove them and approve the set before it goes live. You're in control at every step.

Can I edit a generated question?

Fully. Rewrite the stem, change the options and correct answer, adjust points, and add or edit the explanation. A draft is a fast first version of a question you own.

How are the generated questions graded?

Objective types (choice, true/false, short answer, fill in the blank) grade automatically. Long answers go to a manual grading queue with a marking guide, so scoring stays consistent.
