Frequently asked questions
Do participants need to create an account?
No. They open a link, enter a code or scan a QR code and start. You decide how much identity to collect, from anonymous to verified email.
What is one-question-at-a-time mode?
It shows a single question per screen, with a progress indicator and navigation, so participants focus on one thing at a time. Or present the whole test on one scrolling page; the choice is yours per test.
What happens if a participant loses their connection?
Their answers autosave as they work, so a dropped connection or closed tab doesn't lose their progress. They reopen the link and resume, within the run's time limit.
Can someone who needs longer get extra time?
Yes. You can apply a per-participant extra-time multiplier or grant a one-off extension, without restarting the test or affecting anyone else's clock.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. It's designed to be comfortable on a phone as well as a laptop, and it renders maths with KaTeX and shows images clearly at any size.
Is the experience accessible?
